Apple has just released iOS 16 Beta 2 for developers. Of course, some changes and innovations are expected. With the latest beta version of iOS 16, users will finally be able to back up their devices to iCloud via LTE and 5G networks.
According to the release notes for iOS 16 Beta 2, the update iCloud backups over a cellular network for all users. Previously, iCloud backup was only available over WiFi and supported 5G networks – but your carrier had to give you this option. In the Description is it [called:

In addition to support for iCloud backups over LTE and 5G, iOS 16 brings a number of other new features, including a redesigned lock screen with widgets, an enhanced focus mode, improvements to iMessage, passkeys, and more. Beta 2 is only available to developers for now. Apple says the first public beta will be released in July, while the official release will take place in the fall. Testers should be prepared for performance and stability issues when trying out the iOS 16 beta on their first devices - so a second device is recommended!
