Today it was announced that the eufyCam 2 and eufyCam 2C surveillance cameras will receive the long-awaited HomeKit Secure Video update.
eufy is the world's leading provider of security systems and smart home appliances, owned by Anker. The new firmware update that supports HomeKit Secure Video is rolling out starting today. However, according to the company, it will take until the end of June for all users to receive the update. Users can of course manually check the availability of the update via the eufy Security app. The announcement also states:

HomeKit Secure Video allows users to view, share, and store video recordings from eufyCam 2 and 2C via iCloud. Apple TV, HomePod, or iPad set up as a home hub uses on-device intelligence to privately analyze the live feed from eufyCam 2 and 2C so users can be alerted when people, animals, or vehicles are present. A 10-day history of video recordings is securely stored in a user's iCloud so that all information about a user's home accessories is end-to-end encrypted and completely private to the user.
The eufyCam 2 and 2C systems offer 1080p video recording, night vision, weather resistance and wireless operation, with a battery that lasts up to 365 days (eufyCam 2) on a single charge.
