Apple has already confirmed leather cases
This change provides additional protection in the event of a fall. Apple will begin accepting orders for the iPhone 12 Pro Max and mini, as well as the HomePod mini and corresponding leather cases, starting Friday, November 6th.
Delivery of the devices will start on November 13th. It is expected that the leather cases will be available a few days earlier.
