Google recently admitted to a glitch in its own service “Google Photos”. Private videos are said to have ended up in the hands of strangers.
Google is currently informing users of “Google Photos” about a very unpleasant glitch via email. According to the report, a “technical problem” occurred around two months ago that accidentally forwarded private videos to strangers – this is reported 9to5GoogleThe information email states:
We are writing to inform you of a technical issue that affected the Google "Download your Data" service for Google Photos between November 21, 2019 and November 25, 2019, when it was resolved:
Unfortunately, during this time, some videos in Google Photos were mistakenly displayed in the archives of unrelated users. One or more videos in your Google Photos account were affected by this issue.

According to the report, videos of people ended up in the wrong user account. The incident understandably caused great outrage. According to Google, however, the number of people affected was very low. That means around 0.01 percent of all users of this service were affected. But considering the fact that over a billion people use the service, this is still devastating. According to Google, the technical problem has been resolved and "an in-depth analysis was carried out to prevent this from ever happening again".
