Under the heading “Coming Soon” it says: “Get ready for a whole new dimension of music.” An accompanying “Tune-In Video” shows only an animated Apple Music logo. teaser is visible on all platforms, i.e. iOS, iPadOS and macOS. Rumors suggest that Apple is preparing to launch a new "Hi-Fi" version of Apple Music that will offer lossless audio and perhaps a Spatial Audio experience on compatible hardware. An announcement could come as early as this Tuesday, May 18.

Apple Music with Spatial Audio support?
The animated Apple Music logo in the teaser has a rotating effect as it switches between white on black and black on white, perhaps hinting at the surround sound nature of spatial audio. The first rumor about the Hi-Fi Apple Music tier appeared two weeks ago, and references to high-fidelity audio have been spotted in the code of both the iOS 14.6 beta and the Apple Music app for Android beta. Some rumors have suggested that the launch of this new Hi-Fi Apple Music plan could come along with the third generation of AirPods. However, other sources claim that the new earbuds won't be released until later this year. So things certainly remain exciting. (Image: Apfelpatient)
