Shortly after the launch of Apple AirTags, Nomad introduced matching accessories. Now the Californian company has expanded its range and made AirTags even more waterproof.
Nomad's AirTag Rugged Keychain is a waterproof case that can be engraved and is pet-friendly. The Rugged Keychain is available in black and white and comes with two case options. Users can choose between an IP67 waterproof rating or a version with a speaker hole.
The AirTag itself has an IP67 rating, which allows it to be submerged in water up to one meter deep for up to 30 minutes. But if you place the AirTag in the Rugged Keychain's waterproof case, this protection is further enhanced.
With its dust and waterproof IP67 housing, a sturdy polycarbonate frame and a durable TPU cover, the Rugged Keychain offers your AirTag a whole new level of protection.
Nomad Rugged Keychain: Optionally with metal insert
The waterproof case can be attached not only to a key but also to a pet collar, protecting the AirTag from extreme weather conditions. Customers can also opt for engraving on a small metal insert that fits into the Nomad Rugged Keychain case.
With the metal insert, the Rugged Keychain looks similar to a pet ID tag, which doesn't draw much attention to the AirTag. Nomad advertises it like this:
