Apple has now announced that the company will announce and discuss its first fiscal quarter 2022 (fourth calendar quarter 2021) results on Thursday, January 27. Side note: Apple's fiscal year starts on October 1 and ends on September 30.
Apple has on its own Investor Relations website announced the date for the next quarterly earnings release. The company will, as usual, release its latest earnings report and then hold a conference call with investors and analysts to provide further details. As always, Cook and Maestri will report on Apple's overall financial position and explain each segment of the three-month period ended in December.
Quarterly figures: Will Apple set a new record?
The quarter is of course the biggest of the fiscal year as it includes the Christmas season. After all, the majority of iPhone 13 deliveries took place in this quarter. The company also launched new MacBook Pro models with M1 Pro and M1 Max processors. The company's revenue for the past quarter is estimated at over $118 billion, surpassing the previous quarterly record of $111.4 billion set a year ago. So the numbers are sure to be interesting.
