Apple has now announced that the company will announce and discuss its fourth fiscal quarter 2021 (third calendar quarter) results on Thursday, October 28. Side note: Apple's fiscal year starts on October 1 and ends on September 30.
Apple has on its own Investor Relations website announced the date for the next quarterly figures release. The company will publish the earnings report for the fourth quarter of 2021 as usual and then hold a conference call with investors and analysts to explain further details. In the last quarter recorded Apple reported revenue of $81.43 billion, up 36 percent from the previous year, and profit of $21.74 billion. Due to the uncertainty caused by the pandemic, Apple has not provided any forecasts for its future business results.
Luca Maestri: “Double-digit growth in each of our product categories”
In July, Apple's CFO, Luca Maestri, said the company had posted records in all geographic segments and achieved double-digit growth in every product category.
Our record operating results for the June quarter included new revenue records in each of our geographic segments, double-digit increases in each of our product categories and a new all-time high for our installed base of active devices. We generated $21 billion in operating cash flow, returned nearly $29 billion to our shareholders during the quarter and continued to invest across our business to support our long-term growth plans.
Apple's figures should therefore be quite interesting this time too. We will of course report on them in summary form as always. (Photo by monsitj / Bigstockphoto)
