Apple will host the "Far Out" event on Wednesday, September 7th at the Steve Jobs Theater. Below you will find - as a reminder - all the important information about the streams and a small preview of what many are expecting.
Apple's "Far Out" event will officially take place on September 7th at 7 p.m. in this country. The excitement for the fall event is growing, as the presentation of new iPhone models is expected, among other things. But in addition to the iPhone 14 series, which includes four models, the new Apple Watch Series 8 is also expected. Here is a brief overview!
iPhone 14
The iPhone 14 series will be the star of the Apple event in September. Four new models will be introduced. Among other things, a brand new iPhone 14 Plus/Max is expected. Although the regular models will hardly differ from the current iPhone 13 generation, a larger model will be a nice addition. As for the Pro series, big changes are expected for the iPhone 14 Pro. A new design, a better processor and big improvements to the camera. The iPhone 14 series will probably be one of the biggest Apple launches in years.
Apple Watch Series 8: Three new models
As for the Apple Watch Series 8, Mark Gurman (Bloomberg) has already reported several times that Apple will introduce three new Apple Watch models in 2022, which he calls the most important update to the Watch in years. All three models will almost certainly be announced in September as well. The Apple Watch Series 8 is said to get a new body temperature sensor and better battery life. The Apple Watch SE will likely be updated while Apple is also preparing a rugged "Pro" version of the current Watch with a different design and high-quality build.
AirPods Pro 2
In addition to the iPhone 14 series and the new Apple Watch models, Apple will also unveil the new AirPods Pro 2 at its September event - at least according to a Bloomberg report. With a similar design to the current generation, it is reported that the next AirPods Pro model - codenamed B698 - will include the next version of the H1 chip, Apple's own audio processor. In addition, evidence of LC3 codec support in the AirPods Max beta firmware suggests that the AirPods Pro 2 could be the first to support Bluetooth 5.2. This codec will give the wireless earbuds more stability and efficiency. In addition, the new standard will help the AirPods Pro 2 improve sound quality during phone calls and songs with higher bitrates. Although low-energy Bluetooth and the LC3 codec do not promise "lossless Bluetooth", they will certainly significantly improve sound quality.
