As expected, Apple has introduced the second generation of AirPods Pro – the AirPods 2. Below you will find a summary of all the new features.
The second generation of AirPods Pro features a new wireless, lossless codec and improved battery life announced. Apple hasn't changed much about the overall design of the new AirPods Pro 2 - however, the speaker grilles, stem, and other small aspects have been slightly altered. The charging case has been redesigned and now includes a lanyard. Additionally, the AirPods can now be charged using the Apple Watch charger. In addition, they have a larger speaker when the case is searched for using Find My. The AirPods themselves have the same design but they now have new silicone tips. As for the stems, these now include touch controls.
AirPods Pro 2: More battery life, better noise cancellation
Apple says the new AirPods Pro have a longer battery life, up to six hours on a single charge. The charging case allows for up to 30 hours of use and can now be engraved with Memoji.

The new AirPods Pro have an updated processor for advanced audio processing, which Apple says offers twice the active noise cancellation of the previous model. They also feature transparency mode, music playback and 48kHz audio specifically for SharePlay.
