Facebook has released a new application called “Creator Studio” in the App Store. This allows page operators to better manage their content on mobile devices.
Facebook today introduced the Creator Studio app for mobile devices. It is now available for iPhone and iPad in the App Store and for all other smartphones and tablets in the Google Play Store. With the Facebook Creator Studio application, site operators can better manage their content without having to access the web version. Facebook explains in a press release:
Starting today, authors and publishers around the world have access to Facebook's new Creator Studio app. The app is an evolution and mobile complement to Creator Studio, the desktop hub that helps authors and publishers manage their content, track performance, and connect meaningfully with their audiences on Facebook. The new experience delivers the same actionable insights and meaningful engagement metrics, all with the ease of a mobile device.
Some features are still missing
The Creators Studio application allows users to manage one or more Facebook Pages simultaneously. This allows them to track engagement metrics and access important data. They can also respond to comments and messages. They can also edit content. According to the company, the app offers many of the features available in the web version – but not all of them. Missing functions will be added in later updates. For example, page owners can edit video titles and descriptions and remove posts. Scheduled content can also be revised. However, it is not possible to create a new post. The Facebook Creator Studio application is available for free download from both the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store.
