Facebook Messenger: Shop together, browse apps and more
Today, we're excited to announce that we're expanding the availability of the Messenger screen sharing feature in video calls and Messenger Rooms to our mobile apps. Screen sharing allows you to instantly share your screen with friends and family in one-on-one or group video calls with up to eight people and up to 16 people in Rooms while using Messenger on their mobile devices. We know people are trying to stay connected more than ever, and screen sharing is the latest feature we're rolling out to bring people closer together.
To activate screen sharing, a video chat must be started. Once the connection has been established, users can give the command “Share screen”. An intermediate menu will appear. Here, “Start transmission” must now be tapped.

The user can then guide their conversation partners through apps, hold presentations or browse shopping apps. There are no limits. According to Facebook, the function will be available worldwide from today. (Image: Facebook)
