San Diego-based company Satechi introduced a new AirPower-like charging mat via press release at this year's CES 2020.
The new Qi mat is a three-in-one charger. As the name suggests, the charging mat can charge several devices at the same time, including an iPhone, an Apple Watch and AirPods. The accessory could serve as a good Apple AirPower alternative.
The Satechi Trio Wireless Charging Pad has a simple design in black and offers protection against overheating and foreign object detection thanks to modern sensors. Users of an Apple Watch can place it on the integrated charging puck to charge. This can also be folded out to activate night mode. The Qi charger is supplied with a USB-C cable 24 W adapter. The Satechi Trio Wireless Charging Pad costs around 120 US dollars and can be purchased now on the Satechi website and on Amazon. But if you are looking for a real AirPower alternative, you should take a closer look at the ZENS Liberty charging mat. This Qi charger is the closest to Apple's AirPower so far - more about it here.
