Apple unveiled the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini models during the “California streaming” event.
The design of the iPhone 13 is largely identical to that of the iPhone 12, although the display notch at the top of the screen is slightly narrower – loud Apple about 20% smaller. The dual cameras on the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini were arranged diagonally in the rear module as part of the update. The iPhone 13's displays are 28% brighter (the Pro models get more upgrades, including a 120Hz refresh rate). In terms of performance, the iPhone 13 is powered by the A15 Bionic chip. The A15 has nearly 15 billion transistors, with 2 high-performance cores and 4 high-efficiency cores. However, it's unclear how big the performance advantage of the A15 chip is over the A14 in the iPhone 12. Apple says the iPhone 13 will achieve up to 2.5 hours longer battery life compared to the iPhone 12. The iPhone 13 mini improves battery life by 1.5 hours.

iPhone 13 with Cinematic Mode
When it comes to photography, Apple has improved the camera system on the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini in many ways. The lenses now take in more light, with 46% more light-gathering ability at an f/1.6 aperture on the main wide-angle camera. Sensor-shift optical image stabilization is now available for the first time on the entry-level models. For video, Apple has added a rack focus effect they call “Cinematic Mode,” similar to Portrait mode for photos, but for video.

colors and storage variants
Cinematic Mode focuses on a subject and adjusts the focus as it moves in the frame. 5G support on the iPhone has been expanded with improved radios in the iPhone 13. Apple will double 5G compatibility to more than 200 providers in 60 countries. The iPhone 13 is available in 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB storage variants. As for colors, it will be available in pink, blue, midnight, starlight and (PRODUCT)RED. Prices start at 799 euros for the 128 GB model. Pre-orders can be placed with Apple from Friday, September 17th. According to Cupertino, deliveries will start on Friday, September 24th. (Image: Apple)
