On June 1st, Apple released iOS 13.5.1 for all users and closed a loophole in the system that allowed a jailbreak under iOS 13.5. Now the signing of iOS 13.5 has been discontinued.
Apple released iOS 13.5 to all users on May 20. But the update contained a security vulnerability that allowed a new jailbreak on all iPhone and iPad models (even the latest generation). After this was closed in a follow-up update, the company has now stopped signing iOS 13.5. When Apple stops signing an iOS version, this means that users are no longer able to upgrade to the previous version via PC or Mac.
iOS 13.5.5 is currently being tested
This is completely normal and is intended to motivate iPhone and iPad users to update their operating system, among other things for security reasons. iOS 13.5.1 is currently available to iPhone and iPad users, while developers are waiting for the first beta of iOS 13.5.5. Due to some errors contained in the current version, it is possible that Apple will provide another interim update. You can find out what new features have been introduced in iOS 13.5 here read it.
