Netflix is introducing a visual update for Apple TV users. With a new version of its app, the company is now making the tvOS 15 player available on its platform.
The update 2.1.23 was released a few days ago (via Reddit) and thanks to the automatic update system on Apple TV, it should be available to Netflix users right now. With tvOS 15, the titles of TV shows and movies will appear in large font in the lower left part of the screen when the progress bar is displayed.

Episode titles appear in smaller font right above the show name. A new info button also appears that links to the content details page, where you can restart an episode, browse more episodes, and view video descriptions. Netflix is another streaming service that no longer offers a swipe-down interface for managing video language, subtitles, and audio output settings thanks to the tvOS 15 interface. Additionally, with the new interface, Netflix finally supports the new Siri Remote that was introduced alongside the 2021 Apple TV 4K. Unfortunately, Netflix still doesn't offer compatibility with the TV app or the new features Apple released with tvOS 15.4. (Photo by Alex Ruhl / Bigstockphoto)
