In mid-October, Anker introduced the Soundcore Frames series - a new audio glasses. The 10 available frame variants are all interchangeable, with the built-in voice assistant and surround sound located in the removable temples above the ears. The first models can now be pre-ordered.
The Soundcore Frames are what Anker calls "audio glasses" and are part of the audio-only glasses family. The device has four speakers and two microphones in the temples. The speakers are positioned to simulate surround sound while the microphones can block out some ambient noise to make phone calls easier to hear when connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth. The audio glasses also offer a privacy mode for calls that limits the volume for other people nearby. In terms of battery life, the company claims around five and a half hours of runtime.

Anker Soundcore Frames: Voice and touch control can be customized
The product has its own voice assistant that controls the device, eliminating the need for the smartphone's voice assistant for media playback and other commands.

There are also touch-sensitive spots near the temples that allow the glasses to be operated silently. Both voice and touch controls can be customized through Anker's companion app. Wearers can use more than one word or phrase to activate the voice AI and choose what type of touch should trigger/activate the glasses. However, the physical customization of the smart glasses is the central point that Anker is promoting the device with.

The 10 initial models offer different shapes and lens options depending on whether the wearer wants sunglasses, a blue filter or prescription glasses.
