We recently reported that the brand new Solo Loop bracelet does not fit every user - despite careful measurements. Anyone who ordered the bracelet together with the new Apple Watch Series 6 has had to return both products - not very sustainable.
Some users who ordered an Apple Watch Series 6 with a Solo Loop bracelet are faced with the problem that the included bracelet does not fit. Anyone who planned to exchange the watch had to send back the entire packaging, including the Apple Watch itself. Extract from our first Contribution:
Basically, some customers are now faced with the problem that the new Solo Loop does not fit as well as they had hoped. But instead of exchanging the strap, they are forced to return the entire product. The reason for this is quite simple: Apple considers the Apple Watch Series 6 or the SE models that come with the Solo Loop strap to be a set. Accordingly, the entire order must be returned. Since supplies are currently limited, those affected must expect to wait until the end of November.
Solo Loop Bracelet: Rule change is more sustainable
This is now set to change. leaker and Youtuber – Jon Prosser – Apple has relaxed the internal guidelines regarding this. According to this, users who have a problem with the bracelet can now complain about the Solo Loop individually. However, they can keep the Apple Watch. This step is not only more sustainable but also, given the limited availability also makes more sense. But that's not all. Apple wants to replace the Solo Loop wristbands that don't fit and at the same time provide a sports wristband free of charge - says Prosser. Apple itself has not publicly communicated the rule change. There are also no statements from affected users that confirm the whole thing in this form - at least not yet. (Image: Apple)
