The stainless steel and titanium Apple Watch bands sold by Nomad have been updated with better color-coordinated finishes, new magnetic clasps, and improved pins.
Nomad is an accessory maker known for its use of Horween leather and high-quality metals. The company sells metal watch bands similar to Apple's ultra-premium Link bracelet at a fraction of the price. Now they've been redesigned and the end result is even better. The Nomad Steel Band is an evolution of the metal link bracelet design with a new diamond-like carbon coating.

The individual components are now all made of the same 316L stainless steel and the color matches the stainless steel Apple Watch perfectly. Nomad advertises the whole thing as follows:
Steel Band is the pinnacle of metal link bracelets for Apple Watch. Made from high-quality stainless steel and an advanced Diamond-Like Carbon coating, this band is designed to give you the confidence and durability of a classic metal link bracelet.
The new closure mechanism uses magnets, meaning the watch can be easily put on and taken off and laid flat on Apple Watch chargers without having to remove the band first.
Apple Watch straps from Nomad: The titanium version also benefits
Nomad has adopted the new "pin and tube" style that is common in high-end watches. Instead of needing markings to show which way a pin needs to be inserted, these pins can be inserted from either side. The pins are also much stronger and don't bend as easily under pressure.

The revised titanium bracelet also has the same refinements as the stainless steel version. This means that it also uses magnetic closures, new pins and a diamond-like coating. The texture of the brushed titanium fits perfectly with the titanium Apple Watch. While the stainless steel version (Silver & Graphite) is available for around $149.95, the titanium version (Black & Silver) $249.95. Both products are available from Nomad starting today in online store can be purchased. (Image: Nomad)
