The limited edition Apple Watch Series 6 Black Unity now appears to no longer be available in all versions in some markets. Stocks are therefore running low.
Brazilian journalist Pedro Henrique Nunes shared an interesting observation on Twitter. According to him, the special Apple Watch model no longer seems to be available everywhere. So if you still want the limited edition, you should be quick.
Apple Watch 6 Black Unity: Apple never mentioned the number of units
While some versions are no longer available or sold out in the US, you can still vote here - but for how long? Apple announced the limited edition of the Apple Watch Series 6 in January but never said how limited it would be. The watch was announced to celebrate Black History Month. In the press release, Apple said the following:
Apple is introducing the Black Unity Collection, designed to celebrate and recognize Black history and culture. The collection includes a limited edition Apple Watch Series 6, Black Unity Sport Band, and a Unity watch face. As part of this effort, Apple is supporting six global organizations to advance their missions to promote and enforce equality and civil rights in the U.S. and around the world: Black Lives Matter Support Fund through the Tides Foundation; European Network Against Racism; International Institute on Race, Equality and Human Rights; Leadership Conference Education Fund; NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc., and Souls Grown Deep.

Black Unity: Apple declares pan-African flag
The company then went on to discuss the Pan-African flag and explained the symbolism behind it.
The Black Unity Collection pays homage to the rich tradition and craft of quilting in the Black community and celebrates the colors of the Pan-African flag: red for the blood that unites the people of the African diaspora and was shed for their liberation, black for the people whose existence is affirmed by the flag, and green for the vibrant natural wealth of Africa, the motherland. The Black Unity Sport Band is made from individual pieces of colored fluoroelastomer that are hand-assembled and pressed into a single unit. The Unity watch face creates an ever-changing pattern that shifts dynamically as Apple Watch moves.
Of course, there are other Apple Watch models available to buy, not least the standard model of the Apple Watch Series 6. However, if you can be patient and don't need a new model, you can wait until next fall. Apple is currently expected to present the Apple Watch Series 7 in September this year.
