Apple today released a series of software updates published and at the same time updated iWork for Mac.
Apple today updated Pages, Numbers, and Keynote for Mac with a number of improvements. Starting today, YouTube and Vimeo videos can also be integrated into Numbers and Pages. Users can add captions and titles to images, videos, and more. Below are the full release notes:
Numbers 10.1
- Play YouTube and Vimeo videos directly in your spreadsheets.
- Easily add captions and titles to images, videos, shapes, and other objects.
- New features, including XLOOKUP, XMATCH, and REGEX, allow you to match patterns, manipulate text, and create flexible formulas.
Keynote 10.1
- Use the new Play Slideshow in Window option to access other applications locally or via video conferencing during a presentation.
- Movies can now be played through slide transitions.
- Add the same movie to multiple slides to play it from one slide to the next.
- Use the Align to Path option to keep objects aligned in the correct direction as they follow a motion path.
- Easily add captions and titles to images, videos, shapes, and other objects.
Pages 10.1
- Play YouTube and Vimeo videos directly in your documents.
- Easily add captions and titles to images, videos, shapes, and other objects.
- Create more flexible formulas with new features.
- Import an iBooks author book to edit it in Pages.
