Apple has now started extending the free trial period for Apple TV+ once again.
Apple TV+ was launched on November 1, 2019. Users who received the one-year trial subscription at that time were originally supposed to be able to service have to pay. But Apple has extended the free trial period until February of this year. Now it's going into the second round. The company has extended the free trial period for a second time. Accordingly, all qualified users can access the service free of charge until June 2021. The email states:
We'll credit your Apple ID with €4.99 for every month you have an active subscription from February through June, so you can continue to enjoy our Apple Original series and films. That's it. You don't have to do anything else.
Apple TV+: How the refund works
Those who have chosen the annual plan will receive five months free of charge. Those who have chosen the monthly plan will receive the amount of 4.99 euros back as App Store credit. Apple One subscribers who booked before January will also receive a refund for each individual month up to and including June. The streaming service can be viewed across all Apple platforms, on the web and on some smart TVs and consoles. The service costs 4.99 euros per month or 49.99 euros per year.
