Minecraft was released for PC on May 10, 2009 and was still in development at the time, which included alpha and beta versions as well as several other versions.
With sales on the various platforms, the game has sold over 144 million copies, making it one of the best-selling video games in the world. Now the manufacturer of the indie open-world game has announced that the version will be removed from the tvOS Store. The reason for this is a lack of interest from users. All customers who have purchased Minecraft for the Apple TV in the last 90 days can have the purchase price refunded via iTunes Support. Anyone who still has the version on their Apple TV device can of course continue to play it - but it is no longer possible to download it again.
