Apple has expanded a previously US-exclusive Apple TV gift card offer to additional countries and is offering customers a gift card with the purchase of an Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD.
The original offer was introduced last month for US customers who received a $50 gift card with the purchase of an Apple TV. After the Apple online store was temporarily unavailable in several countries this morning, Apple has expanded the offer to more locations, including the UK, France, Italy, Germany and others.
New Apple TV could be released this year
The campaign runs until August 15th. The 50 euros The gift card offered as part of the promotion can only be used for future Apple purchases and not for the purchase of an Apple TV itself. Rumors suggest that Apple is working on a new Apple TV that could be launched later this year. The gift card promotion could therefore be a means of reducing stock levels ahead of the new model.
