The Apple TV app is already running on various Smart TVs. Sony's PlayStation 4 & 5 consoles are now set to follow.
The company announced on the PlayStation blog that the Apple TV app will be rolled out on November 12th. It is set to debut at the same time as the PlayStation 5. The streaming application will also be available on the fourth generation of consoles. Users will be able to access Apple Original content as well as their own iTunes purchases. In addition to Sony, Microsoft will also provide the Apple TV app on its own Xbox. The application will reportedly be released in a similar time frame. Apple has been trying to make the application accessible on all platforms since the announcement of TV+ in March 2019.
Apple TV app conquers new platforms
