Apple released the final version of software updates for iOS, watchOS, macOS and tvOS this evening.
Apple has released macOS Mojave 10.14.3, iOS 12.1.3, watchOS 5.1.3 and tvOS 12.1.2 to all users. An update for the HomePod has also been released.
watchOS 5.1.3 and tvOS 12.1.2
Both updates contain hardly any notable new features, which is why Apple has reduced the description of both updates to “bug fixes and improvements”.
iOS 12.1.3 and HomePod
Unlike watchOS and tvOS, the update description for iOS 12.1.3 contains a little more information. A bug in iMessage that was noticeable when scrolling through photos has been fixed. A problem that caused connection interruptions between an iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max or iPhone Xr with CarPlay has also been resolved. Another issue was the use of external audio input devices with the 2018 iPad Pro - problems with distortion should now be a thing of the past.
The HomePod recently had two problems. One of these problems caused the device to restart - according to Apple's description, the bug has now been fixed. Another bug that prevented Siri from listening has also been fixed.
macOS 10.14.3
The new features in macOS 10.14.3 are also very clear. The description only contains Apple's standard text - the update improves security, stability and compatibility.
The build numbers of the current versions are:
macOS Mojave 10.14.3 (18D42)
iOS 12.1.3 (16D39 | 16D40)
watchOS 5.1.3 (16S535)
tvOS 12.1.2 (16K534)
