Last night, Apple surprisingly updated the Apple Store app for iPhone and iPad. The shopping application has been made even clearer.
The new Apple Store app update has completely redesigned the “Shopping” section and made it much clearer. It is now divided into five sections:
- Recommended
- Matching your device
- By Product
- Exchange and save on your next purchase
- stores nearby
In the "By Product" section, all devices have been divided into categories and labeled accordingly. The design is somewhat reminiscent of the "Today" section in the App Store. In addition to the redesign, the option to store passes for reserved "products for pickup" in the Wallet app has been added. The pass functionality includes reservations for "Today at Apple Sessions". You can find the update description verbatim below. (Photo by Eremin / Bigstockphoto)
Apple Store Version 5.7:
- The redesigned Shopping tab is now even more tailored to you, offering more relevant information and clearer graphics.
- And if you have reserved a product for pickup in the store, you can save the information directly in the Wallet app.
