On Friday, Apple will deliver the first iPhone 12 devices to customers worldwide. The corresponding accessories are already being delivered. Now two separate contributions discovered that the iPhone 12 protective cases arrived without speaker openings. The sound is of course muffled - an unpleasant effect. In one of the two cases, an Apple support employee initially caused confusion. He explained to the customer that this was not a mistake. But of course that is not true. The correction was made promptly. The cases should have speaker cutouts as before.

Cases of faulty protective cases being delivered in this form are quite rare at Apple - at least they are not documented very often on the Internet. So if someone is actually affected by this, an exchange is usually carried out immediately - both online and directly in the store.
