As expected, Apple released the third beta of iOS 14, iPadOS 14, tvOS 14, watchOS 7 and macOS 11 Big Sur to all registered developers this evening.
The new updates for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Co. are available as usual over-the-air or alternatively in the Developer Center for download. In the second preview iOS 14 has made minor changes in various areas, including widgets, the control center, and more. It is currently unknown which improvements have been implemented in the third beta. As soon as all changes are clear, we will provide a summary as usual. If there are any leaks from the code in the meantime, we will of course report on them. If you are interested in Apple's public beta program, we recommend our step-by-step instructions on this topic. We will guide you through the entire process.
Are you also a beta tester and would like to exchange ideas with other testers? Then you could join our Telegram group (Apfelpatient – Beta Workshop) might be just right for you.
Notice – As usual, a preview should not be installed on an actively used iPhone or iPad, as these are usually quite unstable and buggy – we recommend using a second device for this. (Photo by Sikov / Bigstockphoto)
