Apple has this evening iOS 13.2, iPadOS 13.2 and tvOS 13.2 released. As part of the update, an update was also released for the HomePod.
Apple has now released the long-awaited update for the HomePod. The new software version includes previously announced features such as Handoff, ambient music and more. Multi-user mode has also finally been added. This allows up to six users to be paired with one HomePod. Siri can then give personalized answers and access the individual iCloud accounts. You can read all the new features verbatim below.
iOS 13.2 offers support for new HomePod features:
- HomePod's ability to recognize the voices of different family members to provide a personalized experience.
- Stream music, podcasts, or phone calls by bringing your iPhone near HomePod.
- Adding Music to Your HomeKit Scenes
- Play relaxing, high-quality soundtracks with ambient sounds.
- Set sleep timers to fall asleep with music or ambient sounds.
To update the HomePod, the iPhone or iPad must have the latest software version. In this case, that is iOS 13.2 or iPadOS 13.2 or later. (Photo by AlexLMX / Bigstockphot)
