Apple released iOS 13.6, iPadOS 13.6, tvOS 13.4.8, watchOS 6.2.8, macOS Catalina 10.15.6 and iOS 12.4.8 to all users this evening.
After the end of last week the Golden Master versions of the five operating systems, the final version has now been rolled out to all users. Users can now update their iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV or Mac devices. iOS 13.6 fixes some bugs and adds interesting features. A particularly critical problem that caused high battery consumption should now also be history. One of the main innovations can be found in the settings in the software updates area. Previously it was possible to control automatic updates. From now on, users can also control the automatic installation of an update. Both switches are currently activated by default.
iOS 13.6: The Health app has also been updated
So if you don’t want that, you will have to deactivate it manually after updating to iOS 13.6. In addition, Apple implemented a feature called "Symptoms" in the Health app. The section includes a total of 33 different symptoms, including body and muscle pain, changes in appetite, coughing, dizziness, fainting, headaches, nausea and more. Users can log one of these signs of illness in the corresponding section and thus track it. Each individual symptom has an explicit description. The input options vary depending on the sign and have the option to determine the severity. Below you can find all the new features and bug fixes verbatim. (Photo by Wrightstudio / Bigstockphoto)
