Apple released iOS 12.1.2 for the second time this evening.
The current iOS version 12.1.2 was released by Apple on Monday. The description does not indicate what changes or improvements this version contains. It is almost identical to the first update. The update originally fixed a problem that occurred when activating the eSim (embedded SIM). It also resolved an error that affected the mobile connection in Turkey. The only change between the two update versions is the build number. This has changed from 16C101 to 16C104. Only a minimal change in the code is suspected. Users with the first version of iOS 12.1.2 are currently not seeing the new version. It remains to be seen whether this will change.
On December 5th, Apple released iOS 12.1.1, among other things. The update included a number of improvements and bug fixes. Apple also expanded the list of participating network operators for the eSim. In addition, notification previews using Haptic Touch were introduced on the iPhone Xr.
