Apple released the first beta of macOS Big Sur 11.1 to registered developers this evening.
Apple rolled out macOS Big Sur worldwide last week. The first beta of macOS Big Sur 11.1 has now been launched. Developers can download the update as usual via the "Software Update" section in the settings. However, the beta profile must first be downloaded from the Developer Center. It is currently not known what new features version 11.1 offers. However, it can be assumed that performance improvements, security updates and corrections or bug fixes have been made. If new features are included, we will report on them as usual.

Notice – As usual, a preview should not be installed on an actively used iPhone or iPad, as these are usually quite unstable and error-prone – we recommend a second device for this. AirPods Pro on special offer at Amazon – available now. (Image: Apple)
