Apple's company policy is currently very much in line with the guidelines of the health authorities. The company takes these very seriously with regard to the novel coronavirus. The company is now recommending that its employees continue to work from home.
The Santa Clara County Health Department this morning issued revised health guidelines Among other things, it advises against large events. But there are also new recommendations regarding work itself. Now Apple is said to be following a new Business Insider According to reports, employees at the Apple Park and Infinite Loop locations have recommended teleworking as an "additional precautionary measure." Employees whose work is not tied to the location should stay at home and work from home. Since many departments require on-site presence, including work on prototypes, the whole thing is a recommendation and cannot be enforced as a requirement.

Further details about this new policy are not yet known. Official confirmation from the company is still pending.
