In addition, the M4 has an optimized neural engine that significantly accelerates AI processes such as image processing or speech recognition.
New color design in sky blue
Apple is expanding the MacBook Air's color palette to include sky blue - a metallic light blue with a glossy finish. In addition to the existing colors midnight, starlight and silver, this new variant provides more choice. The MagSafe charging cable is also color-coordinated with the case.
Improved camera and video quality
The new MacBook Air has a 12 MP Center Stage camera with improved video quality. The Center Stage feature ensures that you automatically stay in the frame during video calls. Even if you move, the camera adjusts the image section. Desk View is also supported. This allows you to show your face and a top view of your desk at the same time - practical for presentations or tutorials.
More connection options for external displays
A major improvement over previous models is support for multiple external displays. The MacBook Air can now drive up to two external 6K monitors in addition to its own Liquid Retina display.
