The Apple Pay Later service that Apple is working on is set to launch “soon,” as Apple CEO Tim Cook confirmed during the conference call for the first fiscal quarter of 2023.
Cook said Apple employees are testing the Apple Pay Later feature in beta, which will help Apple increase its revenue from services. "It will be rolling out soon," said Cook.
Apple Pay Later: What the service offers
Apple Pay Later was first announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2022 presented. It is similar to PayPal's "buy now, pay later" feature and is designed to allow users to make multiple payments for their purchases. Apple Pay Later allows a purchase to be split into four payments that can be made within six weeks. The option will be available wherever Apple Pay is accepted. Payments will be managed through the Wallet app. (Photo by Unsplash / naipo.de)
