The news was a sensation. Apple and Amazon recently concluded a new deal. The iGroup will become an official Amazon seller - now it's starting.
Apple will soon offer a wide range of products on Amazon. The deal between the two giants applies to the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, India and Japan.

The iGroup has, among other things, the latest devices from 2018 and some selected products from the Beats family in its range - the recently released iPad Pro is also included. Since the Homepod competes with Amazon's Echo, the smart speaker is of course excluded. In terms of price, the products remain at the same level as at Apple retailers. They can often be up to 101% cheaper than in the Apple Online Store.
Furthermore, the Apple Store on Amazon does not allow product configurations.
Smaller retailers suffer
This new development is not something everyone is happy about. Smaller sellers will suffer as a result. As of January 4, 2019, they will no longer be allowed to sell used or refurbished Apple products on Amazon without permission. In order to obtain permission to sell such products, the dealers in question must be officially certified by Apple.
