As expected, Apple has introduced a new entry-level device. It is called the iPhone Xr and also has the notch. This means that Touch ID is finally a thing of the past on iPhones. As expected, the biometric recognition technology Face ID has prevailed.

design and size
The iPhone Xr has a 6.1" screen - this is not OLED but LCD. The frame of the inexpensive entry-level model is made of aluminum. This is said to be of aerospace quality - according to Apple. Since the back is made of glass, wireless charging is possible. The special thing about this device is the choice of colors. The iPhone Xr can be purchased in black, white, blue, yellow, product red and coral.
processor and memory
The iPhone Xr also gets the A12 Bionic chip. This means that this model also has enormous computing power. Even the battery can benefit from this. It should last up to 1.5 hours longer than the iPhone 8 Plus. The device will be available with 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB.
camera
Unlike the Xs models, the iPhone Xr will not have a dual camera. However, Apple has installed the same 12MP sensor - so good pictures are guaranteed even with the inexpensive iPhone. Recordings in 4K and optical image stabilization are a given. Portrait mode is also supported.

The new iPhone Xr can officially be pre-ordered from October 19th. Delivery will begin on October 26th.
