In the future, the Apple Pencil 2 will no longer need a lightning connector. If the pencil is near the device, it will connect automatically - similar to the AirPods principle, and charging will also be wireless. There is a magnetic attachment on the side of the iPad casing for this. Apple's new stylus also boasts gesture control. However, the Apple Pencil 2 is not compatible with older iPad Pro models. If you want the new pencil, you can buy it from Apple for 135 euros.
