There is a lot of news in the Apple world. However, there are even more rumors circulating about new products from Apple. Of course, leaks from supplier circles also sometimes come to light.
Back in August, voices were already being raised predicting another keynote in October. A look back in time confirms this assumption. After the event in September, this suspicion has been confirmed. Of course, Apple has not yet commented on this. So everything remains open.
iPad Pro
It had already been suspected that an iPad Pro 12.9" with Face ID would be released, and this was confirmed by Kuo. But now he also believes that there will be another iPad, namely an 11" model. Both will do without the home button. The iPad was recently leaked in an iOS 12 beta. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is also said to be history. The Smart Connector is said to be moved down to the Lightning port, which on the one hand points to new Smart Keyboards and on the other hand is also an indication that Face ID can only be used vertically.
Macotakara also wants to know the dimensions. According to this, the 12.9" model is said to measure 280 mm x 215 mm x 6.4 mm and the 10.5" model is said to measure 247.5 mm x 178.7 mm x 6 mm. The iPhone X showed the way - now the iPad Pro is to follow suit. Apple's iOS beta once again gave us a deep insight. Another clue was found that provides information about the shape of the display corners. According to this, the upcoming iPad Pro is said to have rounded screen corners - similar to the iPhone X before it. If the iPad is started in the iOS simulator, it can be seen that iOS 12 can also run with rounded corners.
MacBook Air
The new notebook will be very similar to the current MacBook Air, but will have a narrower display bezel. The device will have a 13" Retina screen and will cost well under the $1,000 mark. Apple also wants to appeal to schools - whether it will keep its name is unclear.
Mac mini
The iGroup also seems to want to give the Mac mini an update at the same time - this is what various sources are reporting. The device was first introduced in 2005 and was last updated by Apple in 2014. There are few details so far - according to Bloomberg, Apple is changing its strategy. The new Mac mini is intended to be aimed more at app developers and administrators of large server farms, among others. Of course, the installed hardware will be significantly upgraded, which will ultimately also be reflected in the price.
AirPods 2
The AirPods 2 are set to have more features and be more expensive. These include better noise compensation and moisture protection. The wireless range is also set to be improved. It is also possible to integrate biometric sensors. This is what Bloomberg reports, citing informed sources. A launch could be possible this year - but there are voices predicting spring 2019.
AirPower
The price of AirPower was last estimated at 150 $. Overall, the development of the Qi charging mat has been delayed by a good year. Apple may bring the good piece to market this year.
