Apple Arcade regularly brings new titles to the platform. In May 2025, five new games will be added, covering a wide range of genres – from animal simulations to creative puzzles to a new multiplayer mayhem game from the creators of WHAT THE CAR?. As always, all new games are playable without ads and without in-app purchases on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro.
When you use Apple Arcade, you get access to a curated collection of over 200 games, which is regularly expanded and updated. In May, five new titles will be added, including a direct sequel to an award-winning game and several classics with fresh takes. At the same time, many existing games will also be enhanced with new content. This overview summarizes all the new releases.
WHAT THE CLASH? – New minigames from the WHAT THE creators
WHAT THE CLASH? is the latest game from Triband, the studio behind WHAT THE CAR?, which was named "Mobile Game of the Year" at the DICE Awards in early 2024. The new title features a mix of different mini-games such as table tennis, archery, tag, and racing. You can play alone or compete with others in local multiplayer. The modifier system is unique: unlockable cards create combinations such as Giraffle, Toasty Archery, or Milk the Fish. This makes every match slightly chaotic and often quite surprising. You play as "The Hand," an elastic hand with legs that you can customize with accessories such as eye patches or outfits. The goal is to climb the rankings, win tournaments, or simply play silly matches with friends.
My Buddy – Pet care with style
My Buddy is a simulation game in which you adopt virtual pets – dogs or cats, each with their own personality and unique appearance. You accompany them through different stages of life, caring for them, playing with them, and dressing them. You can also decorate their rooms and interact with them at any time. The game emphasizes emotional bonding and everyday life with pets, packaged in a straightforward gaming experience.

LEGO Friends Heartlake Rush+ – Endless race through LEGO cities
LEGO Friends Heartlake Rush+ is an endless racing game featuring familiar characters Aliya, Autumn, Nova, Leo, Liann, and more. You control them through Heartlake City, dodging obstacles, collecting treasure, and completing missions. The vehicles can be customized with colors, tires, stickers, and other parts. The game is aimed at younger players or LEGO fans who enjoy fast-paced racing.
Words of Wonders: Search+ – Word searches with an educational factor
Words of Wonders: Search+ is a variation of the popular word search game, combined with a travel game. As you find hidden words on the game board, you'll visit iconic landmarks from all over the world. Each level has its own theme. The game combines vocabulary training with puzzle strategy and is suitable for those who like a quiet but not boring experience.
SUMI SUMI: Matching Puzzle+ – Puzzles with Rilakkuma and Co.
SUMI SUMI: Matching Puzzle+ brings characters like Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi into a relaxing puzzle format. The tap-to-match mechanics are simple, yet challenging thanks to strategic elements. The design is colorful and clearly Japanese-inspired. It will particularly appeal to fans of kawaii aesthetics and uncomplicated puzzle games.
