Tim Cook: “Every company should be part of the fight against climate change”
Apple says it has added 10 new projects to its "Power for Impact" initiative, which it says will bring "clean energy solutions to communities around the world" by bringing renewable energy to underserved communities. The new projects are located in numerous countries, including the United States, South Africa, the Philippines, Colombia and Israel. CEO Tim Cook said:
Every company should be part of the fight against climate change. Together with our suppliers and local communities, we are demonstrating the opportunities and equal opportunities that green innovation can bring. We act with urgency and we act together. But time is not a renewable resource and we must act quickly to invest in a greener and fairer future.
