To mark International Day Against Homophobia on May 17 and in the run-up to Pride Month in June, Apple has now announced the 2022 edition of its traditional Apple Watch Pride band. There is also a new Pride-themed watch face that will be available to all users.
Apple is known for its support of LGBTQIA+ rights. Every year, the company releases Apple Watch Pride bands so that members of the community can show their pride. At the same time, the company financially supports LGBTQIA+ organizations that work to bring about positive change in diversity. describes Apple's new accessories:
New Pride bracelet is available exclusively from Apple
Members and allies of the LGBTQ+ creative community at Apple were inspired to create a new expression of pride with this unique design. Using the comfortable, durable and adjustable Sport Loop design, Apple applied a new technique to remove some of the double-layered nylon woven fabric loops on the band to reveal the word "Pride" in a cursive style inspired by the original "Hello" greeting displayed on the first Macintosh in 1984, giving the word a new, three-dimensional look and feel.
In addition to the new strap, Apple has also introduced new watch faces that are already available.
This watch face combines colors that represent the LGBTQ community. The threads turn into the time and respond to the movement of your wrist. You can also tap each thread or turn the Digital Crown to send a vibration across them.

The new Pride bracelet is now available in the Apple Online Store for 49 euros and will be available in Apple Stores from May 26th. (Image: Apple)
