Apple published further details on app tracking transparency in a press release yesterday. The company has now informed developers separately.
In a new announcement on the official Apple Developer website, Cupertino has made a contribution published, which refers to app tracking transparency. According to the announcement, developers should integrate the feature into their applications in a timely manner.
Late last year, to give you extra time to prepare, we temporarily deferred the requirement to use AppTrackingTransparency when requesting permission to track users and access device advertising identifiers. This requirement will now go into effect with the upcoming beta update and will be rolled out to everyone in the spring with the upcoming release of iOS 14, iPadOS 14, and tvOS 14. We recommend that you review your app's implementation of AppTrackingTransparency as soon as possible. Without the user's permission, you will not be allowed to track them and the device's advertising identifier value will be set to zero.

Apple also stated that additional details for Private Click Measurement will be available soon, which "enables the measurement of advertising campaigns that direct users to websites while maintaining user privacy."
In an upcoming release of iOS and iPadOS, we will enhance SKAdNetwork to add support for private click measurement for apps, which will help ad networks better attribute ads shown within apps on those platforms.
In a press release for Data Privacy Day, Apple announced yesterday that App Tracking Transparency will be enabled in the next beta version of iOS 14. Craig Federighi, Apple's Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, explained that "privacy is about peace of mind" and that Apple's goal is to "create technology that keeps people's information safe and secure."
