Apple's annual general meeting will take place tomorrow, February 26, at the Steve Jobs Theater. The company has now made all participants aware of additional health and safety precautions in advance.
Apple has sent a notice to all attendees of tomorrow's annual general meeting, alerting them to the coronavirus. In it, the company explains that it is working with public health experts and adhering to the official guidelines of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which refer to best practices related to COVID-19. As a result, attendees who were in China in February are asked to observe the 14-day quarantine period. The notice states: notice:
Apple is following official guidance on COVID-19 from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and working closely with public health experts. We ask shareholders who traveled to China in February to ensure they have completed the required 14-day quarantine period prior to the meeting in order to attend the meeting.
Annual General Meeting uninteresting for consumers
As a rule, an annual general meeting is of little interest to consumers. At a shareholders’ meeting, investors are informed about general business and are given the opportunity to address various topics and present proposals. The topic of transparency is often addressed. But in this case, Apple could also bring up the second quarter and present a new forecast announce. (Photo by css0101 / Bigstockphoto)
