Apple has introduced the AirPods Pro 2 alongside new iPhone and Apple Watch models. Here are a few interesting details.
The AirPods Pro 2 offer improved audio quality, longer battery life, up to twice the noise cancellation of the original AirPods Pro, a redesigned charging case with Find My support and water resistance, a new option for extra-small silicone tips, the ability to adjust volume by swiping up and down on the stem, and more. But the new buds feature other changes that Apple didn't mention during the keynote.

Air Pods Pro 2 charging case
The new charging case weighs 50.8 grams without the AirPods Pro inside. This makes the new case about 11% heavier than the first generation, which weighs 45.6 grams. The weight of the left and right AirPods Pro earbuds, on the other hand, is almost unchanged.
Improved in-ear detection
The AirPods Pro now feature a skin-detection sensor that can more accurately detect whether the AirPods are in a person's ears than the two optical sensors on the original AirPods Pro. According to Apple, the improved sensor turns the audio playback on or off on the new AirPods Pro more precisely, thus contributing to longer battery life. The skin-detection sensor was first integrated into the standard third-generation AirPods last year.
carrying strap loop
The new AirPods Pro charging case has an integrated cutout for a lanyard loop on the right side of the case.

Support for the Apple Watch charger
In addition to charging via MagSafe and Lightning, the new AirPods Pro can now also be charged with the Apple Watch's magnetic charging puck.
Memoji personalization
Apple has announced that customers can personalize the AirPods Pro 2 case with their own Memoji for free through the Apple Store app.

Bluetooth 5.3
Like the iPhone 14, the new AirPods Pro also support Bluetooth 5.3, according to Apple's technical specifications. Bluetooth 5.3 could pave the way for the AirPods Pro to support LE Audio, which would have several advantages for the wireless headphones. But Apple has not yet mentioned that the device supports LE Audio. If you want the new plugs, you can get them from Friday, September 9th for 299 euros pre-order. Delivery will start on September 23rd. (Image: Apple)
