Sales of the new iPad Pro will start on November 7th. The new professional tablet can be pre-ordered since yesterday. Now Apple has published the prices for service and repairs.
As expected, repairing the new iPad Pro models is not cheap. The new 12.9” model costs 700.90 euros. A repair of the 11” device costs 540.90 euros. These costs are of course outside of the normal manufacturer guarantee or warranty.
Apple Care +
If the new iPad Pro models are covered by Apple Care +, then a repair would cost 49 euros. If the user decides to send their device to Apple, an additional 12.10 euros in shipping costs must be paid.
The price for Apple Care+ for one of the iPad Pro models is 139 euros. Apple emphasizes that the prices apply to a repair carried out by Apple itself. Pricing and terms and conditions of other service providers may vary.
