Apple has already announced several new products for 2025, including the cheaper iPhone 16e and new MacBook Air and Mac Studio models with the powerful M4 and M3 Ultra chips. But that's not all. More exciting Apple products could be introduced in the coming months.
Rumors suggest that there are at least three product categories that could see some activity before the end of the summer. These include a new smart home device, an updated version of the Mac Pro, and a second generation of the AirTag. The presentation of iOS 19 and new software features are also on the agenda.
Smart Home Command Center – A new device for Apple users
Apple is working on a new smart home accessory that will serve as a central hub for controlling connected devices. This product is said to have an iPad-like interface and could be integrated into the Apple ecosystem to enable intuitive control of HomeKit devices. According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the device could be launched in early 2025 at the earliest. However, there is speculation that the release could be delayed because Apple needs to adapt the new product to the developments of iOS 18.4 and iOS 19. Other reports, such as those from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, even assume that the release will not take place before the second or third quarter of 2025. Apple itself has not yet officially announced the device, but when it is released, it could become a serious competitor to existing smart home systems from Amazon or Google.

Mac Pro – What does the next model bring?
The Mac Pro is expected to be updated in the summer of 2025. It was originally speculated that Apple would integrate the new M4 Ultra chip into the device. However, after the introduction of the M3 Ultra in the Mac Studio, it is no longer certain whether the Mac Pro will actually use the next generation of the chip. Apple has already confirmed that the M4 Max chip does not have an UltraFusion connector, which would have enabled the chip's performance to be doubled. This means that the next Mac Pro will be equipped with either the M3 Ultra or an improved variant. With the M3 Ultra chip, the Mac Pro would still be one of the most powerful devices on the market, especially for professional users in the field of video editing, 3D rendering or software development. It remains to be seen whether Apple is planning any major innovations for this model.
AirTag 2 – Improved tracking and more security
Apple is planning to introduce a new AirTag model, which is expected to be released in mid-2025. Mark Gurman expects a later release, while other reports suggest a release as early as May or June. The new AirTag is said to have an improved chip that enables more precise location determination. Apple is likely to use the second-generation ultra-wideband chip that is already used in the iPhone 15 and newer. Another important update concerns the security features. Apple wants to prevent the AirTag from being misused for stalking purposes by making the built-in speaker more difficult to remove. Visually, the new model will probably not differ much from the previous AirTag, but the range of the location is to be improved so that lost items can be found even more easily.
iOS 19 – The next big update for the iPhone
Apple is expected to unveil iOS 19 at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June 2025. The final release is planned for September, when the new iPhone 17 is also due to be released. Rumors have it that the development of iOS 19 is being delayed because Apple is continuing to work on the features of iOS 18. Many features are expected to be introduced gradually - similar to the last iOS versions. A major visual change could affect the design. There are indications that Apple will design some apps in the style of visionOS, i.e. with more transparent interfaces, larger buttons and a stronger focus on content. The camera app in particular could get a new design.

Another important topic is Siri. Apple is working on a more intelligent version of the voice assistant that will compete with AI-powered chatbots like ChatGPT. It was originally expected that this new version of Siri would be released with iOS 19. But now it seems that Apple is postponing the feature until iOS 20.
Exciting innovations: These Apple products could be released soon
Apple could launch a number of exciting new products in the summer of 2025. The Smart Home Command Center could play an important role in home automation, while the Mac Pro continues to expand as Apple's most powerful computer. With the AirTag 2, Apple wants to improve location functions while offering more security. And of course, iOS 19 is the next big iPhone update, which may bring a new design and a smarter version of Siri. Whether all of these innovations actually appear as expected or are delayed will become clear in the coming months. But Apple users can be sure that the company will continue to work on innovative products that improve the user experience.
