Razer also has something to announce at CES 2020. It's a new controller for select iPhone and Android devices.
The new Razer controller was developed in collaboration with Gamevice and can be docked to the iPhone using a lightning connector. The joystick surrounds the iPhone on the left and right sides to ensure a better gaming experience. The direct connection to the device also greatly reduces latency. The Razer Kishi Mobile Gaming Controller also has a USB-C port. The gaming accessory was licensed by Apple - as Razer explains. The following devices are compatible with the new controller:
Android smartphones:
- Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+/S9/S9+/S10e/S10/S10+/Note 8/Note 9/Note 10/Note 10+,
- Google Pixel 2/2 XL/3/3XL/4/4XL,
- and other Android 7.0 Nougat or newer devices
iPhone devices:
- iPhone 11/11 Pro/11 Pro Max,
- iPhone XR/XS/XS Max,
- iPhone X,
- iPhone 8/8 Plus,
- iPhone 7/7 Plus,
- iPhone 6s/6s Plus,
According to Razer, the new Kishi controller will be released in early 2020. However, no specific date was given. The price also remains a secret for now. (Image: Razer)
