As expected, Apple took a closer look at its new gaming service, Apple Arcade, during the “By innovation only” keynote.
Apple Arcade is one of the services that Apple introduced at the "It's show time" keynote in March of this year. This service is the first game subscription for mobile and desktop. Users get access to a selected number of paid games in the AppStore. Initially, the library will contain around 100 games - participating developers include Sega, Devolver, Disney and more. Apple supports development and works with the studios. Whether iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV - participating games should not have any advertising or in-app purchases.

The game statuses are saved in the iCloud and synchronized with other devices - a seamless transition is thus guaranteed. Apple Arcade is set to launch in over 150 countries on September 19th. The gaming service will be available for $4.99 and includes a free trial month - family sharing will also be included. (Photo by Denys Prykhodov / Bigstockphoto)
